Is Search Engine Optimisation All Its Made out to Be?
One thing that I have paid close attention to over the years is that search engine optimisation works best when your page is not heavily ladened with key words. I know that initially people will think that the best way to get people to your site is to make sure that your site is inundated with your key words, but actually you could be doing more harm then good. If your site comes across with too many words that are not conversational in tone, there is a good chance a search engine would think you are trying to outsmart them and leave your page alone.
I have my own blog site that I like to keep for my family and friends to look onto. We have a large family and we are spread across the country, actually the world, and the internet is a great way to stay updated. I never expected that my site would make it so far though with the general public. I happened to put on a few generic advertisements and now before I had time to manage it, the search engine optimisation picked up the site and now people all over are visiting my family pictures and vacations. I hope they enjoy it.
