Fundraising for Non-Profit Organisations

Posted in Uncategorized

Moving around in the 21st century, wealthy business minded people and companies are always looking for feasible projects to invest in for silent and side investment returns. Companies are looking to enhance the reputation gained by non- profit programs to enhance goodwill and their public profile. Companies however are cautious as to not take too large risks with such initiatives so that they don’t lose money and perspective. So they sometimes outsource their fund raising activities to professional fund raising organizations.

Fund raising is usually heavily done by non-profit organizations for the benefit of a cause. It includes formal project management with a descriptive idea of the project and having considerable and justified ROI so that the objective of raising more money is successfully met. There are many universal fundraising ideas but just to be creative, people may try some affiliate programs (having ventures or taking advantage of a company’s goodwill) or get celebrities to endorse the fund raising event, or think of games, carnivals or items to sell to generate money. Depending on the scope of the fund raiser and the resources at ones disposal, an expensive auction can also be organized which see large parts of the proceeds go to charity.

When running an activity of fund raising we should always keep in mind that it should be ethical. While considering the facts relating to increasing prices and a growing recession (one should never overestimate the results and forecasts).
