Compatibility Made to Edify Spirit
You couldn’t describe me as pleasantly happy being bored with most men (who isn’t?) and remain an honest woman. But, I’m not unsatisfied with the reality of life, either. I just suggest it on the blogosphere as an appetizing personal tidbit setting up the story I am prepared to explain in grand style.
A week ago today I was talking to Trisha, considering joining the Phoenix Great Expectations dating service. Today, I stand to you as a happy member of the dating service. No kidding, it’s true. Its very comfortable and full of nice people! If you have read my old blog, you may be wondering, “Stop blabbering and tell me about it already.”
Here’s how it went down, I saw these Great Expectations Reviews and felt encouraged. They’re for the honest singles who care enough to know dating doesn’t have to be so frivolous and stupid.
Quite frankly, I’d never been too big on the ridiculous nightlife ritual serial daters (ie: everyone I know) so aptly entitled “Dating.” I got it more than you know. Each night they nagg, “Are you seeing somebody?” and “Oh I know just the guy for you!”
“That’s rubbish,” I banter right back, without missing a beat. “Not after that last blind date you set me up on.”
“Don’t be silly,” they say. “You haven’t dated in a year, you wouldn’t know!”
Leave it to my sister (she’s the best) hah! Stacey Feldman. She offers reality directly to my core to set me straight. Loved ones are always there for fresh advice. She made a good point, and I joined.
Coming home to the meaning of this essay. As I selected from thousands of outfits (hah) and desirable, honest singles for my first date with Great Expectations, something occurred to me that was quite real. Over the last year, I hadn’t held the greatest of figurative great expectations for dating and myself in the adventurous winding course of being alive. It’s good to be single, even more so if you use the freedom to date. Having great expectations makes a difference in dating.
